Enrollment FAQ

Q: Does my child need to be re-enrolled each year?
A: Students moving from Kindergarten into Grades 1–8 fall under Continuous Enrollment and do not need to re-enroll annually.
Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5, and Kindergarten do require an annual reenrollment packet because families choose program options each year.

Q: Do returning students entering Pre-K 4, Pre-K 5, or Kindergarten need to complete a new packet?
A: Yes. The re-enrollment packet is required, but your information carries over—no need to re-enter anything unless something has changed.

Saint Mary Catholic School employs the "Continuous Enrollment" concept for enrolled students, presuming they will continue until eighth-grade graduation. As most families stay year after year, this simplifies re-enrollment and aids in budget planning. Currently enrolled kindergarteners through 7th-grade students in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing, intending to attend the upcoming school year will be automatically re-enrolled. A registration fee  will be billed to your FACTS tuition account to secure your seat in a grade.

Enrolling a New Sibling for the Next School Year

If you plan to register any additional family members in Preschool through eighth grade for the next school year who are not currently enrolled, please contact our Advancement Director, Mrs. Genevieve Giampa, [email protected] or 610.287.7757 ext. 244.

Opting Out of Continuous Enrollment

Students who opt out of continuous enrollment will no longer be guaranteed a seat in their grade at Saint Mary Catholic School for the next school year. If you decide to register at a later date, enrollment will be subject to availability in that grade(s).

If you later decide to re-enroll, you may need to complete a new application for admission on the FACTS website.

Depending on the date of application, Financial Aid applications may need to be resubmitted. Financial assistance will then be re-evaluated, provided that funds remain available.

Should you wish to opt out of continuous enrollment for any reason or to withdraw your child/ren from Saint Mary Catholic School:

• Please log in to your FACTS Family Portal (District Code: STMAR-PA):

• Choose the “school” option located on the left side of the page

• Select web forms – this is where you will find the opt-out form

Withdrawing Students

Please remember that student records and transcripts are not released for withdrawn students until all school materials are returned, all current fees and tuition are paid in full. Your student spot at Saint Mary Catholic School will no longer be guaranteed for the next school year. If you decide to re-enroll later, enrollment will be subject to availability in that grade(s). Financial aid awards will be forfeited; Financial Aid Applications will need to be resubmitted and awards will be made with any remaining funds, if available.
