Hi! My name is Julie Casas. I am so excited to be returning to St. Mary’s School as the first grade teacher! I started my teaching career at St. Mary’s 16 years ago by completing the student teaching experience in the Kindergarten classroom. Since that time, I have taught Kindergarten through 4th grade within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Diocese of Allentown.

My path to teaching was a little different as I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Teaching was always a calling in my heart. After working in the business world for a number of years, I returned to complete a Master’s Degree in Instruction through Drexel University. The combination of business and teaching experience helps me to provide students with real-world skills.

My husband, George, and I have lived in Schwenksville for 25 years. We have 2 adult children that graduated from St. Mary’s. Their faith-filled experience at St. Mary’s helped to make them the successful adults that they are today.

In my free time, I love to go to the beach, ride my bike, and swim. I also love spending time with my family.
